6.6/10

The hotel had its highs and lows. The rooms lacked proper ventilation near the pool area, some staff members were not friendly, but overall, the location was convenient for exploring the area and the service was welcoming and helpful.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were not well-ventilated, and the air conditioning unit didn't cool properly. There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke towards the back of the property.
Service
7.0
The service was a mix of experiences; some staff members were not friendly, but others were wonderful and helpful.
Location
8.0
The location was ideal, within walking distance to the main attractions of the area. However, there were occasional issues with cigarette smoke odor.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was not the best due to high prices for the quality offered and limited options available during the stay.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were generally good, but improvements in enforcing the non-smoking policy and maintaining room ventilation are recommended.

7.0/10

At first, the room was a bit frigid, but later it became muggy. It was somewhat outdated and gross, yet the view made up for it. An update wouldn't hurt, but overall, I had nothing to complain about.

Rooms
7.0
The room had a mix of challenges, but the view was worth it in the end.
Service
9.0
The service was nice, and the atmosphere was quiet, except for some activity by the pool. The staff was very accommodating, especially considering we only had reservations for one night. They even cooked eggs, omelets, and waffles with your choice of berries and nuts. Housekeeping was also excellent.
Location
8.0
The location was great for exploring Gatlinburg on foot and had a peaceful ambiance with a nice view of flowing water. It's perfect for hikers being right on the edge of the Smokies. Although some updates are needed, its convenience to downtown and the nearby trails made up for it.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left something to be desired; it was a bit expensive and not any better than what you'd get for free at other places. The advertised breakfast options were lacking, and the bathtub was very dirty, which was disappointing as we couldn't use it for our daughter.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities could use some updates and freshening up, especially in terms of cleanliness. However, the view and surroundings were pleasant.
